It's Happening!
I can't believe the second book in my standalone romance trilogy, The Caretaker of Secrets {Faith}, is coming out this December 1st, 2024! I honestly could cry.
This trilogy is so dear to my heart, mainly because the story is part true and part fiction, with each book following the life of a young adult woman as she takes care of the precious secrets of her wiser friends. I have had a few ARC readers get back to me with their thoughts on both books, and the common thread is that they laughed, cried, were shocked, fell in love, and left wanting to read the next book in this trilogy. And what more can an author want from their readers, right?
I truly wrote this series, hoping my readers would feel every emotion. When you have a young, naïve, and flawed character like Samantha Carey, coming into an unknown world to find love and friendship, and then insert her wiser friends Jane Nelson in book one and Alice Clark in book two, you WILL feel every emotion as the story ignites into a past of love triangles, heartbreak, and betrayal.
But the real surprise I think my readers feel is the generational bonds between the young and old, which is the main reason I wrote this trilogy. My ultimate goal is to close that generational gap we see too often today.
